They said be yourself for the interview, I wonder if they will accept all of me.

Did they realize showing up fully comes with all my pain and my glory.

My whole self is my current self and it’s not completely healed.

If I don’t suppress then I guess you’ll see the darkness behind the shield.

Who I am today is not who I will be tomorrow.

But If I must be myself today then you’ll also witness my sorrow.
